Tony Chitas

Director of Yard Operations

“I came into DBS fresh out of high school in 1998. So I didn’t know what I wanted in life or my career. But I’ve been blessed because DBS helped me create a path for myself. And now I’m twenty years with the company.”

Tony moved around in different positions throughout his career with DBS.

“I’ve been in the yard, paint department, customer service and went into contractor sales. Finally, when the company was looking for an Operations Manager, I raised my hand and they welcomed me with open arms.”

Now, as Director of Yard Operations and twenty-year employee, Tony knows the ins and outs of building a career with DBS.

“There’s many different positions and opportunities for people here. We like to see a positive attitude — that’s key. If you come to the job with a good attitude but lack experience, we’ll take the attitude all day. No question. We want people to come to work and feel like they’re part of a team.”

Nelson Furtado

Director of Sales

“When I arrived at DBS seventeen years ago, I had little management experience. But I applied myself and took to my work, and was rewarded with many opportunities to grow within the company. We have strong values and believe in helping you carve a path for yourself.”

Tony Medina

Outside Sales Coordinator

“It feels like a community here. DBS becomes a bigger part of your life once you’ve been here for a while. You get to know everybody! Plus, many employees have been here for a very long time — that’s a testament to the values and “family feel” DBS maintains.”

Samantha Brewer

“Before being hired by DBS, I can honestly say I never had a job that I loved. A job where I woke up in the morning and felt confident about my day ahead. Now I look forward to arriving and facing new challenges every day. We’re not just numbers here — our managers take the time to mentor and get to know us.”
